We are seeking to hire a top Compliance Analyst to join our operations team to help us strengthen the experience of our customers using our business banking ecosystem. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.

The Compliance Analyst will assist with corporate client onboarding and ongoing monitoring of the client portfolio of the company. The client portfolio is both monitored and reviewed, making sure the company's AML compliance and KYC policies and procedures are being met. This candidate will form part of the Compliance function within the operations team, responsible for client onboarding, client reviewing and the management of the transaction alerts generated by the Fyorin platform. The role is a critical element of the platform's defense against money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud.

• Be familiar with the departmental systems/processes and their implementation;
• Review onboarding documentation to ensure that they are complete;
• Carry out customer screening for both new and existing clients;
• Review both incoming and outgoing payments to assess rationale;
• Monitor client transactions and ensure they are inline with the Monitoring Policy;
• Detect any unusual / suspicious activity and follow the correct procedure in reporting when required;
• Assess payment rationale and patterns
• Analyze / investigate any flagged payments and take appropriate action;
• Respond to queries in a prompt and efficient manner
• Monitor the departmental queues for alerts on a regular basis throughout the working day; ensuring management are aware of outstanding alerts at end of day;
• Review and assess corporate clients’ AML and fraud risk;
• Create and maintain accurate and concise records of all investigations undertaken including details on the rationale for any decisions made;
• Seek to build an understanding of the profile of customers highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert process;
• Investigate and analyze complaints raised;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders as necessary on any matters countered during such investigations.

• Can analyze complex information
• In possession of a financial services related diploma / degree level of education
• Previous experience in a similar role within finance and payments will be considered an asset
• Additional experience in fraud/compliance/AML is considered an asset
• Conversant with a strong interest in both IT and Compliance
• Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative and attention to detail
• The ability to represent Fyorin and our brand excellently
• Having experience in the payments market and knowledge of basic and Card payments principles would be considered a strong asset
