across Europe and process large volumes of highly granular transaction data.\nWe are looking for a Solutions Architect / Data Engineer to join our team in Lisbon and help us scale our data infrastructure, integrations and client solutions.\nWhat you will do\n• Design and develop scalable data pipelines processing high volumes of POS transaction data\n• Build and maintain integrations with POS providers, technology partners and customer systems\n• Translate business and customer requirements into robust technical architectures\n• Improve the reliability, quality, monitoring and performance of our data platform\n• Structure and transform raw transaction data into consistent and usable datasets\n• Develop APIs and data delivery solutions for external partners and clients\n• Work closely with product, data science, customer success and commercial teams\n• Investigate data issues and implement sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes\n• Define technical standards, documentation and best practices\n• Contribute to architecture decisions as Fyre expands into new markets and data sources\nOur current environment includes\n• Google Cloud Platform\n• BigQuery\n• Python and SQL\n• dbt\n• Cloud Run\n• Pub/Sub\n• REST APIs\n• CI/CD and infrastructure monitoring\n\nWhat we are looking for\n• At least five years of experience in data engineering, solutions architecture or a comparable technical role\n• Advanced SQL and Python skills\n• Strong experience designing and operating cloud-based data pipelines\n• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery\n• Experience with APIs, data integrations and event-driven architectures\n• A solid understanding of data modelling, data quality and production monitoring\n• The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n• A pragmatic mindset and the ability to make sound decisions in complex data environments\n• Professional fluency in English\nExperience
