Join a global team of 550+ professionals building infrastructure and software that supports the entire digital ecosystem.\nWe are over 550 professionals and currently looking for a Software Python Engineer (GPU Cloud).\n What You’ll Do\nBuild Python services and APIs for the lifecycle of GPU virtual machines and bare-metal servers.\nDevelop workflows for provisioning, placement, maintenance, quarantine, and recovery.\nImprove how capacity is tracked, scheduled, and made available to customers.\nIntegrate new GPU servers and configurations into OpenStack and connect them with Gcore’s Kubernetes services.\nAutomate host validation, image preparation, driver installation, and production readiness checks.\nImprove testing, observability, deployment safety, and operational tooling.\nInvestigate production issues across the control plane, hypervisors, networking, storage, and hardware.\nWork closely with compute, Kubernetes, networking, SRE, hardware, and product teams.\nOwn projects from design and implementation through rollout and production operation.\n What We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience writing reliable, well-tested production code.\nStrong Python skills and experience building APIs, backend services, or distributed systems.\nHands-on experience with OpenStack or another cloud control plane.\nGood understanding of Linux, networking, and compute virtualization.\nPractical experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.\nExperience owning production services where reliability and scale are important.\nAbility to debug complex problems across multiple layers of a system.\nGood communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering.\nNice to have\nExperience with KVM, QEMU, libvirt, PCI passthrough, vGPU, or MIG.\nExperience with NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, NVML, DCGM, GPU Operator, or Kubernetes device plugins.\nExperience with bare-metal provisioning, BMC, Redfish, firmware, or hardware validation.\nExperience with Ceph, InfiniBand, RDMA, RoCE, or GPUDirect.\nExperience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, GitOps, or CI/CD tooling.\nExperience with Go or another systems programming language.\nContributions to OpenStack, Kubernetes, Linux, or other open-source infrastructure projects.\n Benefits\nAt Gcore, we want you to do your best work and enjoy the journey.
