Sitting within the Engineering, Product & Delivery function, you will provide hands-on procurement and operational support to the IT department, looking after purchase orders, financial tracking, contract administration and planning activities so that technology leaders can focus on strategy, people and delivery.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail of procurement and keeping a department organised, likes working with a broad range of stakeholders and wants a varied, practical role at the heart of a technology team within a well regarded insurer.\nKey Responsibilities\nRaise and receipt purchase orders, ensuring goods and services are logged accurately and on time\nTrack technology spend against budget and forecasts, keeping records up to date for leadership and Finance\nAdminister supplier and consultancy contracts, including renewals, documentation and key dates\nProcess invoices and resolve queries with suppliers, Finance and the wider Procurement team\nSupport planning activities for the department, including budget cycles and resource tracking\nOrganise leadership meetings, town halls, away days and other departmental events\nCoordinate internal communications and announcements across the function\nMaintain procurement trackers and produce regular reporting on spend, suppliers and actions\nAct as the first point of contact for vendor queries and external requests\nBuild strong working relationships with colleagues across Technology, Finance, Procurement and HR\nRequirements\nExperience in a procurement, purchasing or business support role\nHands-on experience with PO raising and receipting, invoice processing and financial tracking\nExposure to contract administration and supplier management\nStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of day-to-day tasks accurately\nClear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal\nConfident working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation\nStrong Excel skills and comfort using finance, procurement and collaboration tools\nExposure to insurance or the London Market would be beneficial but
