Sitting within the Engineering, Product & Delivery function, you will be the person who keeps the department running smoothly behind the scenes, pulling together budgets, suppliers, events, communications and reporting so that technology leaders can spend their time on strategy, people and delivery.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders and wants a varied, visible role at the heart of a technology team within a well regarded insurer.\nKey Responsibilities\nTrack departmental spend, forecasts and supplier commitments, keeping leadership informed of the financial position\nWork alongside Finance and Procurement on purchase orders, contract renewals and consultancy engagements\nOrganise the department’s calendar of leadership meetings, planning cycles, town halls and away days\nOwn internal communications, from intranet content to announcements celebrating team wins and milestones\nRun the governance rhythm for the function, keeping on top of risks, actions and decisions\nPull together management information and reporting packs for senior technology stakeholders\nServe as the first point of contact for vendors, industry event invitations and external enquiries\nMonitor progress and dependencies on cross-team initiatives, flagging issues early\nSpot inefficiencies in how the department operates and put forward practical improvements\nBuild strong working relationships with colleagues across Technology, Finance and HR\nRequirements\nBackground in technology operations, business management, PMO or a comparable coordination role\nProven ability to juggle competing priorities and see tasks through to completion\nClear, polished communication skills, both written and verbal\nA commercial mindset and comfort working with budgets, suppliers and contracts\nConfidence engaging with stakeholders from analyst level through to senior leadership\nAccuracy and attention to detail without losing sight of the wider picture\nStrong working knowledge of collaboration, reporting and planning tools\nExposure to insurance or the London Market would be beneficial but is not
