In our people team, you’ll work across disciplines to drive the strategy, culture and structure that enable our success.\nTake the next step in your career.\nThe role\n12th July 2027 - 14th July 2028\n09:00 - 17:30 working hours\nBased in Central London\nWe are offering a 12-month placement opportunity for students currently enrolled on a sandwich degree programme to join our HR team and gain first-hand experience in one of the most dynamic HR environments in the industry.\nThere are multiple roles available across our HR function, including fixed and rotational opportunities in the following areas:\nHR Operations\nMarketing\nCampus Hiring\n Talent Acquisition and Reward (rotational)\nThis placement provides a structured path to develop your knowledge of HR operations, talent strategy, reward and marketing and communications, all while supporting the systems and people that power a high-performance technology organisation.\nHR Operations \n The HR Operations team manages the day-to-day processes, systems, records and compliance that keep the employee experience running smoothly.\nKey responsibilities of the role include:\nSupporting core HR processes across the employee lifecycle\nBeing a point of contact for HR and benefits queries\nManaging internal HR documentation and support payroll coordination\nOwning and delivering defined HR projects\nLiaising with third-party providers to ensure seamless benefit delivery\nMarketing and Communications\n The Marketing and Communications team manages G-Research's external reputation and internal culture through brand partnerships, events, content and employer brand campaigns across the UK and internationally.\nKey responsibilities of the role include:\nSupporting the planning and delivery of conference sponsorships, STEM partnerships and brand attraction events\nAssisting with the organisation and on-the-day delivery of internal and external events, including logistics, suppliers and attendees\nCoordinating branded merchandise, marketing collateral and event assets, including shipping, print and inventory tracking\nCreating and curating content for internal and external channels, including social media, blogs and website updates\nSupporting social media planning, publishing and performance tracking\nAssisting with event content capture and distribution, working closely with the Content Lead\nSourcing technical talent for our campus events and programmes Supporting the team with coordinating university partnerships Contributing to the end-to-end recruitment for our placement year hiring Attending career events and contributing to increasing brand awareness on campus\nReward and Talent Acquisition\nThe Reward team designs, manages and communicates the company’s pay, benefits and wellbeing offerings.
