In our Security Operations team, you’ll work across disciplines to drive the strategy, and structure that enable our success.\nTake the next step in your career.\nThe role\nWe are looking for an Operational Analyst to join our team and help drive the delivery of our security operations. You will play a key role in keeping operational activities on track, coordinating work across teams and ensuring actions are followed through to completion.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on organisation, accountability and collaboration, and enjoys working with others to deliver meaningful outcomes.\nKey responsibilities of the role include:\nTracking and following up on security operational activities to ensure they are completed on time\nCollaborating with engineering, delivery and other teams to unblock work and maintain momentum\nCollaborating with service owners to ensure service security hygiene requirements are well understood\nSupporting control owners to fulfil their responsibilities and follow defined processes\nMaintaining visibility of ongoing tasks, identifying risks and delays early and ensuring risk registers remain up to date\nSupporting the coordination of security processes and workflows\nProducing reports on security operations progress for stakeholders\nIdentifying opportunities to improve how we track and manage security work\nWho are we looking for?\nStrong understanding of security and risk management \nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail\nConfident communicator who can follow up with people at all levels\nProactive and persistent, comfortable chasing actions to completion\nAbility to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities\nComfortable with tools like Jira, Confluence or similar workflow tracking platforms\nAnalytical mindset, able to spot patterns, gaps and risks in operational data and identify process and control improvements \nExperience in a technology environment, in an operations, project coordinator or analyst role with responsibility for governance, risk, compliance and risk management processes\nWhy join us?\nHighly competitive compensation plus annual discretionary bonus\nLunch provided (via Just Eat for Business) and dedicated barista bar\n30 days’ annual leave\n9% company pension contributions\nInformal dress code and excellent work/life balance\nComprehensive healthcare and life assurance\nCycle-to-work scheme\nMonthly company events\nG-Research is committed to cultivating and preserving an inclusive work environment.
