Final compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, level, and program requirements.\nYears of Industry Experience:Mid-Level: 3+ years of relevant experience.\nSenior-Level: 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of specialized experience in Information Systems Security Management.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement: Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance (or interim) at the start of employment and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Clearance.\nAbout the Role.\nG2 Ops supports mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Mid-Senior Cyber Analyst to support the PAE Mission Systems (MS) Chief Engineer (CHENG) organization.\nIn this role, you’ll provide CHENG-level Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) technical assessment and oversight of cybersecurity posture across PAE MS programs using available continuous monitoring data, cybersecurity tools, and program-level reporting. You’ll evaluate cybersecurity risk and control effectiveness across programs, identify recurring and enterprise-level trends, and work with program teams to drive appropriate remediation and technical action.\nWhat You’ll Do\nReview and assess cybersecurity posture using vulnerability findings, security-control status, remediation activity, network and security information, and other available ConMon data.\nEvaluate outputs from cybersecurity capabilities including ACAS/Tenable, SIEM, network monitoring, endpoint security, GRC platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and CSSP/CND tools.\nAssess how cybersecurity tools and data sources collectively support effective continuous monitoring and identify gaps in coverage, visibility, or control effectiveness.\nCorrelate cybersecurity information across multiple tools, systems, and programs to identify systemic risks, recurring vulnerabilities, and enterprise-level trends.\nEvaluate remediation activities and coordinate with program cybersecurity and engineering teams to address identified risks and technical gaps.\nProvide technical recommendations and supporting analysis to CHENG leadership regarding cybersecurity posture, risk, and required follow-on actions.\nSupport the development of cybersecurity assessments, briefings, metrics, and technical documentation for Government stakeholders.\nCoordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, RMF, network, and program teams to improve visibility and consistency of continuous monitoring activities.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong background in cybersecurity engineering, cybersecurity operations, or continuous monitoring.\nExperience interpreting vulnerability, network, endpoint, security-control, and cybersecurity monitoring data.\nWorking knowledge of ACAS/Tenable, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, GRC, and network-monitoring technologies.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity risk management, vulnerability remediation, security controls, and defense-in-depth concepts.\nFamiliarity with RMF, STIGs/SRGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.\nAbility to correlate cybersecurity information across multiple tools, systems, and programs to identify systemic risk and gaps in monitoring coverage or control effectiveness.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams, program leadership, and Government stakeholders.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting ACAT or other major DoD acquisition programs.\nExperience supporting Department of the Navy, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, or similar DoD organizations.\nFamiliarity with Navy CSSP/CND capabilities and cybersecurity governance processes.\nExperience performing cybersecurity assessments across multiple systems or programs rather than supporting a single system or network.\nAdditional Considerations\nThis is a full-time position supporting mission-focused customer environments\nOutside employment or activities must not create conflicts of interest with company or customer responsibilities\nWhy G2 Ops?
