At G2 Ops, we support mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative SystemsArchitectureEngineer to support mission architecture in Dahlgren, VA.\nIn this role, you’ll contribute to mission architecture analysis, requirements development, systems modeling, and technical documentation while working alongside customer and engineering stakeholders. You’ll help develop clear, accurate system views and engineering products that support complex defense mission planning, integration, and decision-making.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport mission architecture analysis for Missile Defense Agency (MDA)related systems and mission environments.\nDevelop, review, and maintain system and subsystem requirements.\nCreate functional flows, mission activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and related architecture products.\nSupport system interface modeling and the development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).\nApply modeling techniques, basic analytics, and systems engineering methods to solve customer problems.\nCollaborate with government stakeholders, customer representatives, and technical teams to clarify needs and deliver accurate engineering products.\nCommunicate technical findings clearly through documentation, reviews, and working sessions.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of relevant systems engineering, mission architecture, requirements, or technical analysis experience.\nExperience with requirements management, system architecture development, functional flow development, or interface modeling.\nAbility to create clear system and subsystem-level requirements, diagrams, models, and technical documentation.\nStrong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work effectively in an onsite, customer-facing team environment.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting DoD, MDA, Navy, or other government mission systems programs.\nFamiliarity with mission operations modeling, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, ICDs, or system-of-systems analysis.\nExperience with MBSE tools, architecture frameworks, or model-based engineering practices.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\nAdditional Considerations\nThis is a full-time position supporting mission-focused customer environments.\nOutside employment or activities must not create conflicts of interest with company or customer responsibilities.\nWhy G2 Ops?
