As an organization, we are intentional about our DEI and philanthropic work (like our G2 Gives program) because it encourages us all to be better people.\nAbout The Role:\nG2 is looking for a Salesforce Engineer based in Bangalore, India to serve as the primary technical partner embedded with our sales and revenue-facing business stakeholders, someone who can move fluidly from a conversation about pipeline OKRs to writing Apex code to shipping a solution in production.\nThis is a hybrid role based out of our Bangalore office for regular in-person collaboration.It is a high-autonomy, high-ownership role. You are the engineer, the analyst, the architect, and the delivery owner. You will operate across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Accounting to understand what they need, design the right solution, build it, test it, deploy it, and iterate on it. If you thrive in environments where you can see the direct impact of what you build on the revenue teams depending on it every day and where you're expected to bring both technical depth and business judgment, this role is for you.\nIn This Role, You Will Focus On:\nPartnering directly with Sales, Marketing, Partner, and Revenue Accounting stakeholders including collaborating across time zones with G2's US-based teams to understand goals, OKRs, and process friction, translating them into technical solutions without a PM or BSA intermediary\n\nOwning the full delivery lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing iteration\n\nBuilding and maintaining solutions across G2's revenue tech stack, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ), Gong, ZoomInfo, and Slack and evaluating new tools as the GTM ecosystem evolves\n\nDeveloping within Salesforce using both declarative configuration and custom code writing Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for solutions that go beyond what clicks can deliver\n\nDesigning and deploying AI-powered GTM workflows leveraging Claude Code, Dust, and native AI capabilities within the stack to automate and augment how Sales and Marketing teams operate, from lead routing to pipeline hygiene to revenue recognition support\n\nMaintaining the reliability, performance, and governance of the systems you own including documentation, change management, and proactive monitoring\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nWe realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.\n8+ years of experience in a Salesforce-centric technical role, with demonstrated ownership of solution delivery end-to-end\n\nSalesforce development proficiency: Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and platform configuration (flows, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets)\n\nHands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ including quote configuration, pricing rules, approval workflows, and order management\n\nExperience working directly with Sales and Marketing business stakeholders comfortable running discovery conversations, scoping solutions, and managing delivery expectations without a PM layer\n\nFamiliarity with one or more tools in the revenue tech ecosystem: Gong, ZoomInfo, or comparable GTM platforms\n\nDemonstrated ability to operate without a PM or QA function you write your own test cases, own your own deployments, and catch your own bugs\n\nComfort with AI-assisted development workflows and genuine curiosity about applying LLMs and AI agents to Sales and Marketing operations\n\nStrong written and verbal communication able to collaborate effectively across time zones with US-based stakeholders and explain technical decisions to non-technical business partners\n\nMust be based in Bangalore, India or within commutable distance to the Bangalore office\n\nWhat Can Help Your Application Stand Out:\nExperience with Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, named credentials)\n\nExposure to AI workflow automation tools (Claude Code, Dust, n8n, or similar)\n\nSalesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist, Administrator, Advanced Administrator)\n\nPrior experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations in a B2B SaaS environment\n\nExperience working in a global team with cross-timezone collaboration, particularly with North America-based stakeholders\n\nOur Commitment to Inclusivity and Diversity\nAt G2, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people of every background can thrive and feel welcome.
