We’re waiting for you!
At G2A, we’re looking for an AI Automation Engineer who wants to harness the potential of artificial intelligence to create solutions that transform the way we work at G2A.COM.
If automation, system integrations, and AI models are areas you’re eager to explore, experiment with, and develop your skills in while turning ideas into tangible business results, this role is for you.
As part of our team, you’ll design and develop intelligent workflows in n8n, build integrations, and create solutions powered by LLMs and AI agents to streamline processes and free teams from repetitive tasks.
Join us and make a real impact on how we put AI into practice from the initial idea, through prototyping, to deploying solutions in production.
Your responsibilities:
Analyzing business requirements and translating them into automation solutions using available tools, while estimating implementation effort
Designing, building, and maintaining workflows in a self-hosted n8n environment, including configuring triggers, webhooks, schedules, and error-handling and retry mechanisms
Creating and developing integrations with G2A systems using REST APIs, including Jira and Confluence (on-premise, with Cloud planned for the future), Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Google Cloud, and BigQuery.
Designing and implementing LLM-powered solutions, such as ticket classification and routing, summary generation, document data extraction, and AI agents that use tools (tool calling, MCP)
Developing custom code wherever no-code solutions prove insufficient, including writing JavaScript or Python scripts, building simple microservices, and creating custom n8n nodes
Ensuring automation security, particularly through credential and permission management and protecting personal data in prompts and logs
Monitoring workflow performance and ensuring reliability by configuring alerts, analyzing execution metrics, and controlling the costs of AI model queries
Creating technical documentation, developing workflow standards and templates, and sharing knowledge through training and supporting other teams
You're a perfect match for the role, if:
You have at least 3 years of experience in process automation, system integration, or backend development
You have experience building and maintaining production workflows in n8n or similar tools, such as Make or Zapier, and are eager to further develop your skills in n8n
You're proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and working with JSON is second nature to you
You have a good understanding of REST APIs and system integration mechanisms, including webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API tokens, pagination, and rate limits
You have hands-on experience using language model APIs, such as Claude or OpenAI, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool calling
You know how to build reliable solutions, with a focus on error handling, idempotency, logging, and testing workflows before deployment
You're familiar with Git, Docker, and the basics of Linux
You understand the importance of GDPR and the principles of securely processing sensitive data in AI-powered solutions
You have a process-oriented mindset: you look for ways to simplify a process before automating it
You understand business needs and can evaluate the impact of automation, for example in terms of time savings and error reduction
You are self-reliant and accountable, taking ownership of a solution from analyzing user needs through implementation to ongoing maintenance
You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly explain limitations, and recommend solutions that fit their needs
You take a critical approach to AI, understand the limitations of language models, and know when human oversight is necessary
You're eager to share knowledge, document solutions, and ensure that automations are easy to maintain and understandable to the entire team
It would be an additional advantage if you:
Have experience administering Jira and Confluence, are familiar with Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or REST APIs in a Data Center environment, and understand the challenges of migrating to Atlassian Cloud
Are familiar with AI agent solutions and RAG architectures, including vector databases (e.g., Qdrant), embeddings, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Have experience evaluating LLM solution quality, creating test sets, measuring response quality, and protecting systems against prompt injection
Are familiar with the Microsoft Graph API and have experience integrating with Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Active Directory, or LDAP
