This role contributes to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace, clean and well-maintained facilities, reliable operations, positive customer service, and effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and business partners.\n\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nReceive grain by truck, including weighing loads, collecting required documentation, and following site procedures.\nCollect grain samples and assist with grain quality assessment and grain cleaning activities in accordance with established procedures.\nBin, transfer, monitor, and ship grain while following operational, safety, and quality requirements.\nOperate terminal control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other equipment, where trained and authorized.\nSupport rail car and locomotive-related activities, where trained and authorized.\nProvide timely, respectful, and professional service to farmers, commercial truck drivers, customers, business partners, and other visitors.\nCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to support safe and efficient operations and respond to changing priorities.\nFollow Environmental, Health and Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices, and help maintain clean, organized, and well-maintained facilities.\nComplete other related duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:\nA commitment to following safety procedures, operating instructions, and site policies while completing assigned work safely, accurately, and on time.\nAbility to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, supervisors, customers, and business partners, and contribute to a respectful workplace.\nWillingness to learn and apply grain handling procedures, equipment operation, quality assessment processes, documentation requirements, and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, with training provided.\nFlexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities and work requirements in a grain handling environment.\n\nAssets\nThe following experience or knowledge would be considered an asset, but is not required:\nKnowledge of grain grading.\nExperience with grain cleaning operations.\nFamiliarity with grain handling equipment and processes.\nPrevious elevator or terminal
