the month.\n\nReview ages analysis daily for any misallocations and implement timely correction.\n\nDevelop an effective and timely process for allocation of customer receipts to ensure all customer balances are up to date.\n\nReview all credit notes issued to clients and ensure they are correctly captured.\n\nAssist with review of Accounts Receivable balance sheet reconciliations including suspense accounts\n\nAssist with preparation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) allowance model in line with IFRS Accounting standards by compiling data required for modelling.\n\nAssist with preparation and calculation of Bad Debt provision in line with US GAAP and G4S Group accounting policies.\n\nAssist with preparation of external and internal audit\n\nAssist with resolution of external and internal audit queries\n\nLead and provide direction for the team\n\nSupervise, guide, and coach Credit Controllers in their daily duties and collection efforts\n\nEnsure the credit control team is assigned portfolios and collection is at maximum.\n\nDistribute daily workloads, and monitor performance against collection targets\n\nEscalate and resolve complex client queries alongside team members without delay\n\nReconcile \"Problem Clients\" and report to the Financial Controller.\n\nDevelop strategies to motivate the team and enhance collection.\n\nDevelop key account clients visits schedule and build and maintain a good client relationship\n\nLiaises with customers and internal personnel including the sales and operations teams to ensure that credit and service issues are resolved smoothly.\n\nAddress incorrect billing and provide accurate advice.\n\nEnsure refunds, journal , credit notes, customers' invoices, letters and statements are done timely and accurately.\n\nEnsure accurate and timely billing for clients every month within the set deadline.\n\nProactively manage non-paying clients and submit to Legal department\n\nLead meetings with Sales and Management to resolve key client account issues, review team performance and innovatively explore opportunities to strengthen collections.\n\nSet monthly collection targets for the team and ensure overall team targets are achieved\n\nConduct regular performance reviews, training, and continuous development for credit control staff\n\nParticipation in weekly credit control meetings.\n\nProvides ad-hoc reporting as requested by management.\n\nAnalyse customer credit behavior and flag delinquent accounts to management\n\nPropose write off of irrecoverable receivables.\n\nFoster a strong control environment and ensure data for group internal control is maintained are submissions adhered to.\n\nSupport month-end and year-end close procedures, and provide documentation/schedules for external audits.\n\nDevelop, implement, and enforce financial policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance controls.\n\nContinuously explore ways to improve the control environment, processes and increase revenue collection.\n\nParticipate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year.\n\nParticipate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks\n\nReport all safety incidents to the relevant people\n\nDiscuss all safety incidents\n\nFollow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management\n\nAttend safety education and refresher programmes\n\nComply with safety policies and procedures at workplace\n\nDistribute safety information as and when required\n\nSupervise direct reports and provide mentorship and coaching.\n\nConduct regular performance evaluations, set clear key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage individual development plans for team members.\n\nIdentify skill gaps within the credit team and design structured training programs.\n\nFoster a continuous learning
