Actively participate in predictive and preventative maintenance program, be a team player and work with a sense of urgency.\nJob Summary\nThe Electrician is responsible for supporting the maintenance department. This candidate has field and classroom experience in either the Industrial Electrical or Instrumentation Electrical Craft. The requirement is two years of formal training, combined with on the job training. Course completion letters/ certifications, and apprenticeship hourly logs are indications of qualification. Other expectations include the ability to perform all the other duties and tasks of the other employees within the department when required or needed. The Electrician must also be knowledgeable and capable of following and enforcing all department and plant rules, policies and procedures.\nEssential Duties\nResponsible for day to day maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment and controls.\nWork independently to analyze and recommend repair steps on equipment failures. Must demonstrate electrical insight when recommending repairs.\nMust be able to demonstrate craft knowledge and demonstrate the ability to perform critical electrical checks in a safe manner.\nCapable of learning new systems and supporting day to day electrical maintenance, as well as troubleshooting all electrical systems.\nFamiliar with PLC's, RSLogics5, RSLogics500, RSLogics5000, HMI-Wonderware, Industrial Communications-Modbus, Profibus, RSLinx, Controlnet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Simolink and Synchlink.\nFamiliar with AC, DC and Servo Drives-Allen Bradley, Siemens, Eurotherm, Pacific Scientific Drives.\nCapable of recognizing electrical hazards and being able to select the correct category of PPE based on assessed energy.\nHelp with breakdowns on both lines and other plant equipment.\nProficient in manufacturing Start-ups and Shut-downs.\nCapable of learning how electrical repair parts are identified and being able to locate, requisition, and install electrical parts.\nComplete work orders as assigned by Supervisor.\nCapable of ensuring a clean and safe workplace, mitigating hazards, and reporting uncontrolled hazards to the supervisor.\nCapable of entering work order status, time worked, and repair parts information into the CMMS system.\nAlways maintains an orderly, clean and safe working area.\nPerform other tasks as assigned.\nQualifications Required\nH.S.
