And under this roof, we protect what matters most.\nEssential Duties\nPerform preventative maintenance through inspection of mechanical systems, equipment, and components.\nPerforms basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nInstalls and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts.\nTests equipment for proper operation.\nOperates lifting devices.\nRequires basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits/ drawings/ prints.\nPerforms basic cutting and welding procedures.\nInform supervisor of progress, problems, and concerns related to job assignments, plant condition, equipment status, and safety conditions.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records while completing all required written and electronic documentation.\nPerform work duties with little to no supervision.\nInteract with all levels of GAF employees with a customer focused attitude.\nWork as a collaborative team member with other maintenance technicians, controls specialists and engineers to diagnose, maintain and repair plant equipment.\nMaintain a clean and orderly work area.\nMake efficient use of time while properly and accurately completing work associated.\nWhen not engaged in regular duties, perform other work as required.\nPerform other duties and tasks as assigned.\nQualifications Required\nH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) \n One of the following (documentation required): 2 year degree in industrial mechanics from a recognized technical college with 1 years industrial mechanic experience OR 5 years industrial mechanic experience \n Must pass MTII test \nMinimum Requirements\nPay Transparency\nBase salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.Base Hourly Rate: $33.93How We Protect What Matters Most:\n1.
