If you're looking for a place where your expertise makes a real difference, this is it.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the planning, design, and construction services for industrial water and wastewater projects.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple disciplines.\nCultivate and maintain strong relationships with both established and new clients.\nDevelop and implement sales strategies for services. \nMentor and develop a team of talented engineering professionals.\nEnsure technical excellence in advanced treatment facilities and process engineering.\nQualifications:\nDemonstrated success in delivering water and wastewater treatment projects.\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\nDeep technical knowledge of advanced treatment processes and facility design.\nGeneral Characteristics\nMakes decisions with broad influence on activities of their organizations. \nDemonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding projects and activities of major consequence. \nProvides leadership and develops and engages others to create a common vision for their projects and the organization. \nAssesses the acceptability of engineering economic analyses and the risks associated with solutions to complex engineering problems. \nEvaluates solutions to complex problems that involve multiple specialty areas of engineering. \nAssesses courses of resolution to ethical dilemmas in complicated situations.\nMinimum Years of Experience\n20+\nEducation\nB.S. or M.S. Engineering, master’s degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred.\nCertification/Licensure\nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states.\nTechnical Responsibilities\nPerforms advisory or consulting work for the organization across broad project areas or within a specialized area with innovative/complex aspects. \nAssesses practices and requirements to achieve sustainable performance of complex engineering projects from a systems perspective.\nProject and Task Management\nOversees multiple large or multidiscipline project teams. \nDevelops projects needed for accomplishing the objectives of the practice. \nEvaluates project management plans for complex engineering projects. \nDevelops risk mitigation plans to address project risks. \nEvaluates effectiveness of leaders and teams. \nMay manage projects, up to $250,000 in yearly value, without GAI President’s approval, but is a small component of overall work.\nManagement Responsibility\nReceives general administrative direction. \nDevelops organizational strategy for staff development through mentored experience, continuing education, and self-development.\nCommunication Skills\nNegotiates critical and controversial issues with leadership. \nRepresents the organization at important functions and conferences.\nWhy GAI?\nGAI offers an exceptional place to do meaningful work, grow your career, and make a real impact in communities nationwide.
