This role is a hybrid role based out of our Bengaluru, India location.\nIn this role, you'll play a key role in building Atlas, Gainsight's AI Agents platform for Customer Success, by owning agentic product features end-to-end-designing, building, shipping, and iterating to measurably increase customer adoption. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment with continuous deployment and enjoys working cross-functionally with teams like Product, Design, and Forward Deployed Engineers. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in full-stack development with Python and React, building AI agents with LLMs, and scalable system design.\nWhat You'll Do:\nApproach problems with an agentic mindset, thinking in terms of autonomous workflows, reasoning, and adaptive systems, rather than defaulting to traditional deterministic engineering patterns.\n\nOwn features end-to-end : design, build, ship, and iterate with minimal hand-holding.\n\nDrive solution approach for your projects, proactively flagging risks and trade-offs early and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.\n\nDesign for scale and reliability from the outset, given the pace at which this platform is growing.\n\nPartner closely with product, design, and FDEs to shape plans, not just execute them.\n\nBring forward better tools, patterns, or approaches where you see an opportunity to improve how the team builds.\n\nKeep documentation lean but sufficient, enough for clarity and continuity\n\nThis is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role will require occasional travel for team meetings, training, or company events.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nBy 6-12 months in this role, you will have:\nDelivered product enhancements that measurably increased customer adoption of the Atlas AI Agents Platform.\n\nBecame a trusted resource for technical problem-solving, unblocking teammates and improving delivery speed across the team.\n\nStrengthened the team's ability to deliver predictably on cutting-edge technology, giving the business confidence to plan ahead.\n\nBuilt strong working relationships across engineering, product, and design that improve collaboration and decision-making.\n\nConsistently raised the team's bar for quality and ownership, not just met the existing one.\n\n What We're Looking For:\n4 - 7 years of professional software engineering experience.\n\nAt least 3 years building scale applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably ReactJs).\n\n1 - 2 years building AI Agents / working with LLMs, with a genuine engineering mindset, not just prompt-engineering.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.\n\nProven experience as a full stack engineer, owning features from initial design through deployment and ongoing maintenance.\n\nStrong understanding of best practices for the full software development lifecycle, system design, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing, and operations.\n\nComfortable working with autonomy while thriving in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment.\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers.\n\nWhy You’ll Love It Here:\nGainsight is a place where innovation is shaped through collaboration, curiosity, and a shared focus on solving real-world problems.
