In this role, you will coordinate workflow, provide day-to-day guidance, conduct quality reviews, support staff training and procedural updates, and serve as a technical resource for disability case operations. This position requires strong judgment, communication, documentation, and analytical skills in a structured, highly regulated environment.\nYour role in our mission\nCoordinate unit workflow and provide day-to-day guidance to Disability Associates and support staff.\nConduct quality reviews of disability-related work and provide feedback to support accuracy, consistency, and compliance.\nServe as a technical and program resource for associates, supervisors, customer service, reception, scanning, and other operational teams.\nPerform paraprofessional non-medical adjudication and case support activities, including review and analysis of disability decisions and related documentation.\nSupport staff orientation and training while updating manuals, procedures, instructions, and other operational resources as processes change.\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and related work products.\nExperience communicating verbally with internal and external customers, including answering questions, gathering information, and providing support by phone.\nExperience preparing clear written documentation, including emails, case notes, interoffice communications, or similar records.\nExperience providing customer service in a call center or phone-based environment.\nExperience with quality review, confidential or sensitive information, disability claims, state or federal policies, or procedural documentation is strongly preferred.\nWhat you should expect in this role\nThis position is based in Madison, Wisconsin, and candidates must reside in Wisconsin and be able to report to the Madison work location Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST.\nWork involving confidential and sensitive information, including disability, healthcare, government, and case-related records.\nRegular responsibility for reviewing the work of others, providing feedback, and supporting quality and operational consistency.\nExposure to Social Security disability claims and the application of state and federal policies, procedures, and program requirements.\nSuccessful completion of a federal background investigation and Social Security Administration suitability determination is required for access to disability data, records, and systems.\nOpportunities for professional growth and skill development within the organization.Eligible employees may participate in Gainwell’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee wellness and support programs.\nThe pay range for this position is $41,900.00 - $59,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
