You'll work on systems that move real value - crypto and fiat across institutional-grade platforms. The problems are complex, the stakes are high, and the teams are small enough that your work will have outsized impact.\nThis isn't a \"write tests and throw them over the wall\" role. You'll shape how your team thinks about quality - designing automation strategies, influencing architecture for testability, and driving reliability across the stack. Depending on your strengths and interests, you'll be placed on one of our product teams: Lending, Trading, Operations, Custody, Settlement, Staking, Derivatives, or Retail (mobile apps on Android and iOS).\nWe're looking for excellent engineers first - we'll find the right seat together.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and suites for APIs, backend services, web and mobile UI (Android/iOS), and blockchain-integrated components.\nDefine and drive the quality strategy for your product team - test planning, coverage analysis, risk assessment, and release readiness.\nPartner closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to shift quality left and influence system design for testability.\nAnalyze test results, production incidents, and system behavior to identify patterns and drive systemic improvements.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines that give teams fast, reliable feedback.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation, code analysis, and automation workflows.\nContribute to performance testing, security validation, and observability practices.\nMentor other engineers on testing practices, code quality, and automation design.\nAdditionally at Staff level:\nSet technical direction for quality engineering across multiple teams or domains.\nDrive cross-team alignment on testing standards, frameworks, and tooling.\nIdentify high-impact quality problems before they're obvious and build consensus around solutions.\nAct as a trusted technical advisor to engineering leadership.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\n5+ years of experience in quality engineering or software development in test, with meaningful ownership of automation strategy and execution.\nStrong programming skills in Python (primary) or similar (JavaScript, Java, Go).\nProven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman).\nDeep understanding of API testing, microservices architectures, and distributed systems.\nExperience with Git, GitHub workflows, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI), and issue tracking (JIRA).\nStrong debugging and analytical skills - comfortable with logs, metrics, and traces (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).\nExperience working in Agile environments with close collaboration across engineering and product.\nClear, proactive communication -
