Responsibilities include:\nInstall, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial overhead doors, sectional doors, high-speed doors, rolling steel doors, and fire doors\nService and repair dock equipment including dock levelers, dock seals and shelters, dock bumpers, and restraints\nInstall, adjust, and repair commercial door operators, access control systems, gate operators, and related hardware\nDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues with door systems and operator components\nComplete digital work orders via company-issued phone and tablet\nMaintain a clean, organized company service vehicle and tool inventory\nCommunicate professionally with commercial facility managers, maintenance directors, and warehouse personnel\nAdhere to all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols\nWhat We're Looking For\n1-3+ years of hands-on commercial door experience required - overhead doors, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock equipment, or related field\nExperience with brands such as Rytec, Assa Abloy, Overhead Door, Amarr, Clopay, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, BEA, or similar preferred\nAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams and perform basic electrical troubleshooting\nStrong mechanical aptitude - experience with springs, cables, tracks, and hardware adjustment\nAbility to work independently, manage a route, and communicate with customers\nComfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and in industrial/warehouse environments\nIDEA or DHI certification a plus but not required\nWhat You'll Get\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience\nCompany-provided service truck with paid gas, tolls, washes, and maintenance\nCompany-issued phone and tablet\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage - Sylvester's covers most of the premium; coverage starts the first of the month after 30 days of employment\n 401(k) with company match\nPaid major holidays\nVacation and sick time\nMonday-Friday daytime hours with overtime opportunity\nA stable, growing company where technicians are valued and supported.\nEEO Statement\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
