You will support routine laboratory operations while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, methods and ways of working.\nWorking closely with colleagues across Quality, Manufacturing and Technical Operations, you will help ensure that microbiological testing is performed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with applicable requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform microbiological analyses according to approved methods, SOPs and quality standards.\nReview, evaluate and document analytical results in accordance with established procedures.\nSupport routine quality control activities within the microbiology laboratory.\nEnsure laboratory documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.\nParticipate in investigations, deviation management and root cause analyses.\nSupport method validations, change controls and continuous improvement activities.\nReview and update laboratory documentation and work instructions as required.\nEnsure that laboratory equipment is maintained and used according to approved procedures.\nCollaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.\nYour profile\nWe are looking for someone with a background in microbiology and experience from a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices or food production. You are structured, curious and eager to learn. You enjoy working in a laboratory environment, paying attention to details and following established procedures. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly and take responsibility for delivering high-quality work.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Science or a related scientific discipline.\nExperience working in a laboratory environment within a regulated industry.\nKnowledge of GMP and quality requirements.\nExperience with microbiological testing or related laboratory activities.\nProfessional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience working within Quality Control.\nExperience with environmental monitoring or environmental sampling.\nKnowledge of microbiological laboratory techniques and quality systems.\nExperience supporting investigations, deviations or change controls.\nLocation and information\nThis position is based in Uppsala, Sweden.
