Our environment spans Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, with GCP as our primary platform. You'll work across both, with most of your focus on GCP, partnering closely with software engineers throughout.\nThis is a hands-on role with real ownership: you'll run infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workloads end to end, and help shape how our teams ship and operate software as we scale.\nWhat You'll Do\nCloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS)\nProvision and manage GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, VPC networks, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor, Cloud Storage, and VPC Service Controls, following IAM and least-privilege principles.\n\nMaintain and support our AWS environments, keeping standards, tooling, and security consistent across both clouds.\n\nBuild and maintain reusable Terraform modules so environments are provisioned consistently and repeatably.\n\nContainers and Kubernetes\nDeploy and operate workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), managing Helm charts and GitOps-based releases with ArgoCD.\n\nTune cluster configuration for reliability, scalability, and cost.\n\nCI/CD and release engineering\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with automated testing, code and container scanning, and promotion across dev, staging, and production.\n\nAutomate build and release workflows to shorten deployment cycles and remove manual steps.\n\nData and application platforms\nSupport managed database and analytics services, including Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and BigQuery, covering access, backups, performance, and availability.\n\nConfigure and maintain application stacks (NGINX and other web servers, middleware, databases) across Linux distributions.\n\nObservability, reliability, and security\nSet up and maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting using tools such as Datadog and Grafana.\n\nTake part in incident response and root-cause analysis, and drive fixes that prevent recurrence.\n\nApply security best practices across the platform: IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, and patching.\n\nContinuous improvement\nEvaluate new tools and practices, document runbooks and architecture, and share knowledge across the engineering team.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n4-6 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure experience in production environments.\n\nStrong experience with GCP core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, IAM, and VPC networking.\n\nWorking experience with AWS, including maintaining AWS-based infrastructure alongside GCP.\n\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes (ideally GKE), Helm, and ArgoCD.\n\nProficiency with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure on GCP and AWS.\n\nExperience building and running CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Travis CI.\n\nSolid Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux).\n\nScripting ability in Bash and Python.\n\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Datadog and Grafana.\n\nHands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting web servers, particularly NGINX.\n\nClear communication and the ability to work across engineering teams.\n\nCuriosity and adaptability in a fast-changing technology landscape.\n\nNice to Have\nGoogle Cloud Professional certification (Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect) or an AWS equivalent.\n\nConfiguration management experience with Ansible.\n\nExperience operating multi-cloud environments across GCP and AWS.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud cost optimization (FinOps).\n\nExposure to DevSecOps tooling such as SonarQube,
