As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a commercially minded analyst to support and strengthen our global finance function.\nThe Opportunity\nReporting to the Group Finance Business Partner, you'll play an important role in Gallagher's budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes, using AI tools, advanced Excel modelling and modern planning systems to transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.\nWorking closely with senior finance leaders, Finance Business Partners and General Managers across the Group, you'll help deliver accurate budgets and forecasts, performance reporting, and business case analysis that supports investment decisions. You'll also build strong commercial finance capability while contributing to continuous improvement across our global finance function.\nBringing a strong commercial lens to variance and performance analysis, you'll look beyond the numbers to understand the key drivers behind business results, identify potential issues and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport coordination of the Group's budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes\n\nBuild AI-assisted tools and advanced Excel models to consolidate, analyse and interpret financial and operational data\n\nPrepare standardised and ad hoc performance reports for Finance Business Partners and business leaders\n\nAnalyse variances in sales volume, mix and overhead performance to identify key drivers and support meaningful commentary\n\nAssist in the review and financial analysis of business cases and capital expenditure proposals\n\nProvide backup coverage across the Finance Business Partnering team, building working knowledge of RDTI, IS finance support and intercompany recharge processes\n\nSupport ad hoc analysis, special projects and process improvement initiatives as they arise\n\nWho You Are\nYou'll be naturally curious, analytical and enjoy turning numbers into meaningful business insights.\nYou're comfortable pulling together information from different sources, asking questions, spotting potential issues and turning analysis into meaningful business insights.\nYou're excited by the opportunities AI and modern analytics bring to finance, with a practical, problem-solving mindset and a genuine appetite to learn. Collaborative and detail-focused, you'll be comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines while building your commercial finance experience within a fast-paced, global organisation.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nA Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline\n\nAt least 3 years’ experience in an analyst, FP&A, accounting, audit, corporate finance or commercial finance role\n\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and understand the wider business context\n\nAdvanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and data manipulation\n\nPractical experience using AI tools to support analysis and productivity\n\nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy\n\nGood communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis clearly and confidently\n\nDesirable:\nWorking towards or part-qualified CA, CPA or CIMA\n\nExperience with Adaptive Planning or similar EPM/CPM planning tools\n\nExperience with SAP or other ERP systems\n\nExposure to intercompany or recharge processes\n\nMake a significant impact in Gallagher's global finance team and contribute to the success of our global business.
