Turn interest into action.\neShepherd is growing in the US, and we’re looking for a Customer Engagement Representative who can connect with livestock producers, understand their operation and turn genuine interest in eShepherd into commercial opportunities.\nYou’ll work across both inbound and outbound leads, researching and qualifying opportunities, speaking directly with prospective customers and demonstrating how virtual fencing could work within their operation.\nIt’s a great fit for someone who understands agriculture, enjoys the energy of sales and knows how to build trust with ranchers and producers.\nWhy eShepherd?\nYou’ll get the pace and opportunity of a growing AgTech business with the backing and global expertise of Gallagher.\nThis isn’t about reading from a sales script. You’ll need to understand the customer, ask the right questions and translate technology into something meaningful for their operation.\nYou’ll work alongside our regional Business Development team to help grow eShepherd’s presence in the virtual fencing market. The role also monitors market trends and competitor activity to help inform sales approaches.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou’ll help turn market interest into qualified opportunities and sales, including:\nResearching, sourcing and qualifying prospective customers.\n\nEngaging leads through proactive conversations and follow-up.\n\nUnderstanding ranchers’ needs, challenges and commercial priorities.\n\nDelivering product demonstrations, representing eShepherd at events and presentations that bring eShepherd’s value to life.\n\nBuilding trusted relationships and providing solutions around customer requirements.\n\nWorking with regional BDMs and CSR to develop and progress sales opportunities.\n\nAddressing customer questions and objections through the sales journey.\n\nSupporting negotiation and close, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales into onboarding.\n\nMaintaining accurate lead and opportunity information within the CRM.\n\nTracking conversion, pipeline growth and revenue performance.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nWe’re looking for someone who can comfortably talk cattle, grazing and technology, while knowing how to move a commercial conversation forward.\nIdeally, you’ll bring:\nSales experience within a solution-selling environment.\n\nKnowledge of AgTech solutions and/or a farming background.\n\nStrong interest or knowledge in beef cattle grazing management.\n\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.\n\nA commercial, results-focused mindset.\n\nConfidence working independently in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience using CRM and sales tools.\n\nThe ability to collaborate effectively across a wider team.\n\nWhat you’ll get\nAlongside the opportunity to join eShepherd at an exciting
