As part of Gallagher's Animal Management business, eShepherd™ has developed virtual fencing technology that is transforming livestock management globally.\nUsing GPS-enabled, solar-powered collars, farmers can remotely manage livestock without the need for traditional fencing, improving productivity while supporting better environmental and animal welfare outcomes.\nWe're looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Melbourne-based eShepherd team and help develop the next generation of products behind this rapidly expanding technology platform.\nThe Opportunity\nThis is a hands-on engineering role where you'll contribute across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and circuit design through to prototyping, testing, validation and production.\nWorking within a multidisciplinary team, you'll help create robust electronic solutions that perform reliably in challenging real-world environments. You'll collaborate closely with software, mechanical, product and manufacturing teams to bring innovative ideas to life and deliver products used by customers around the world.\nThis is an opportunity to work on technology that combines electronics, embedded systems, connectivity and IoT while seeing your work move quickly from concept into commercial deployment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDesign and develop electronic circuitry for new and existing products\n\nContribute to product development from concept through to production\n\nBuild, test and validate prototypes\n\nConduct troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and design verification\n\nSupport PCB design, schematic capture and electronics development activities\n\nEnsure products meet EMC, electrical safety and regulatory requirements\n\nCollaborate with Software, Product, Manufacturing and Quality teams\n\nWork with suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver quality outcomes\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice\n\nParticipate in technical reviews and engineering problem-solving\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar\n\nExperience designing and developing commercial electronic products\n\nStrong analogue and digital electronics design capability\n\nExperience with PCB design tools and electronics development processes\n\nUnderstanding of product development and manufacturing environments\n\nKnowledge of EMC compliance and electrical safety requirements\n\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills\n\nExperience working with IoT devices,
