Reporting to the Information Security Manager and working closely with the Cybersecurity Operations Lead, you'll play a hands-on role in strengthening Gallagher's security capabilities across security platforms, cloud environments, applications, and DevSecOps practices.\nThis is a broad engineering role that offers the opportunity to work across multiple domains of cybersecurity. You'll help implement and maintain security controls, support vulnerability remediation, contribute to automation initiatives, and work alongside technical teams to ensure our environments remain secure, reliable, and resilient.\nYou'll be responsible for\nConfiguring, maintaining, and optimising security platforms including SIEM, EDR, IAM, CASB, vulnerability management tools, and firewalls\n\nSupporting cloud and application security initiatives, including identity and access management and conditional access controls\n\nAssisting with the remediation of security vulnerabilities across applications, platforms, and cloud environments\n\nDeveloping scripts and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across security operations\n\nSupporting security testing programs, including validation and remediation activities associated with SAST and DAST findings\n\nCollaborating with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to strengthen Gallagher's overall security posture\n\nAbout You\nYou're a curious and proactive security professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and continuously learning. Comfortable working across multiple areas of cybersecurity, you're equally at home configuring security platforms, supporting cloud security initiatives, and automating repetitive tasks.\nYou'll also bring:\n3 to 5 years' experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT engineering roles\n\nExperience configuring or supporting security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, CASB, vulnerability management tools, or firewalls\n\nExposure to cloud environments and application security concepts\n\nScripting experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams\n\nA tertiary qualification in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience\n\nWorking at Gallagher\nYou’ll be part of a global, future-focused organisation where creativity and innovation are valued and supported.
