Come join us.\nThe Opportunity\nWe're looking for a strategic and hands-on Regional Marketing Manager to drive Gallagher Security's brand, demand generation, and market development activities across Africa. Based in Johannesburg, this standalone role offers the opportunity to shape regional marketing strategy while leading the delivery of campaigns, communications, events, content, and channel partner programmes that support business growth.\nWorking closely with regional Sales leadership, Global Marketing, Product Marketing, and key stakeholders, you'll develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, strengthen partner engagement, influence key decision-makers, and generate demand across priority sectors including finance, data centres, mining, government, critical infrastructure, and higher education.\nYour role at a glance:\nDevelop and deliver the annual Africa marketing plan, aligned with regional business priorities, sales objectives and global marketing direction.\n\nIdentify market opportunities, customer needs, industry trends and competitive activity across South Africa and wider African markets.\n\nPrioritise activity across South Africa, SADC, East Africa and West Africa based on opportunity, market maturity and business objectives.\n\nManage the Africa marketing budget and report on campaign effectiveness, sourced and influenced pipeline, lead quality, engagement and return on investment.\n\nPlan and deliver Channel Partner events, consultant engagement activities, end-user forums and trade exhibitions, managing logistics, suppliers, sponsorships and communications.\n\nDevelop integrated campaigns across digital, social, content, PR, events and partner channels to drive awareness, engagement, lead generation and pipeline growth.\n\nCreate account-based and sector-focused marketing initiatives alongside Sales, and localise global campaigns for African markets and audiences.\n\nDrive regional PR, media engagement, thought leadership and social media activity, including customer stories, case studies, articles and presentations.\n\nSupport product, service and business initiative launches across the region.\n\nBuild Channel Partner engagement and growth through joint campaigns, communications, events, enablement resources and marketing tools.\n\nStrengthen Gallagher’s specification influence through consultant, industry association and stakeholder engagement.\n\nUse performance insights and changing market conditions to continually optimise marketing activity.\n\nAbout You\nYou love turning ideas into action. Equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves to deliver, you're a self-starter who thrives in diverse, fast-moving markets. Combining commercial acumen with strong relationship-building skills, you know how to engage stakeholders, navigate complexity, and create marketing initiatives that generate real impact.\nWhat you’ll bring:\n7+ years’ experience in a broad marketing role with responsibility for both strategy and execution.\n\nA tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and delivering regional or multi-market marketing programmes.\n\nExperience working across South Africa and wider African markets is highly desirable.\n\nA strong track record of partnering with Sales teams to support demand generation, Channel Partner engagement and business growth.\n\nExperience managing agencies, suppliers and external marketing partners.\n\nConfidence using CRM systems, marketing platforms, reporting tools and data to guide decisions.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, project management and stakeholder relationship skills.\n\nThe ability to work independently, influence across functions and cultures, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.\n\nExperience in technology, security, infrastructure, industrial or channel-led businesses would be an advantage.\n\nWorking at Gallagher\nAt Gallagher, we foster a supportive and family-friendly work environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the forefront.
