Our team is developing an IoT and AI-driven platform designed to solve real-world challenges for farmers, and we’re looking for a Test Engineer to help ensure everything we build is reliable, scalable, and ready to perform.\nAbout the Role\nAs our Software Test Engineer, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the eShepherd platform.\nYou’ll design, execute and maintain test plans across backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and device-related features. Working closely with Software Engineers, Product, UX/UI, Data and DevOps specialists, you’ll help validate new functionality, identify issues early and support the continuous delivery of high-quality releases.\nThis is a practical role combining manual testing, test automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll have the freedom to investigate complex problems, improve testing processes, and help build quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDesigning and executing test plans across web, API and device-based features\n\nPerforming functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing\n\nDeveloping and maintaining automated test scripts and supporting CI/CD testing practices\n\nIdentifying, documenting and validating defects to support high-quality releases\n\nCollaborating with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams to improve quality across the platform\n\nUsing monitoring and observability tools to investigate system behaviour and troubleshoot issues\n\nContributing to continuous improvement of testing tools, processes and automation\n\nWho You Are\nYou’re an analytical and curious Test Engineer who enjoys getting into the detail, asking the right questions and uncovering issues before they reach customers.\nYou’re comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change, information may not always be complete, and taking initiative is valued.
