We build AI systems that determine how logistics decisions are made - not just how they're executed. From factory to foxhole, we operate at the layer where data becomes decisions, and decisions make the advantage.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the theater tier of Navigator, our core sustainment decision support product, at the level where COCOM and MAJCOM staffs plan and run logistics. This is the strategic expression of Navigator: the same platform that supports tactical and operational sustainment, extended to the echelon where theater-wide priorities, constraints, and trade-offs get decided.\nYou will own the roadmap for this tier end to end, from discovery with theater logistics planners through release and real adoption inside operational commands. You will work directly with COCOM and MAJCOM J4 and A4 staffs, program offices, engineering, design, and our leadership team, and you will be accountable for whether what we ship improves how theater sustainment decisions get made.\nThis role demands business acumen and fluency in the customer. You should understand how the Department of War is organized, how it plans, how it buys, and what it takes to build software that gets fielded and used inside it. We are building for operators in the most demanding environments on earth, and the person in this seat translates that reality into product.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe Navigator Theater Roadmap\nSet priorities for the theater tier, make the trade-offs, and defend them to engineering, leadership, and the customer in a way that earns trust.\n\nDecide what we build and, just as importantly, what we say no to, keeping the tier focused on the decisions that matter most at COCOM and MAJCOM echelon.\n\nTurn an ambitious multi-echelon vision into a sequenced set of bets with clear success metrics.\n\nDiscovery With the People Who Plan at Theater\nRun discovery directly with COCOM and MAJCOM logistics planners, J4 and Service-4 staff, and program offices, in garrison and in the field.\n\nWrite the synthesis that turns what you hear into product direction, not feature requests, and tie each decision to a mission outcome.\n\nStay close enough to the work that you can tell the difference between what users ask for and what they need.\n\nExecution End to End\nOwn the product lifecycle from problem statement through release and adoption, working shoulder to shoulder with engineering and design through sprint planning, demos, and field feedback.\n\nKnow whether what shipped moved the mission and be honest when it didn't.\n\nBe the Voice of the Customer\nBring deep understanding of how the Department of War plans, buys, and fields software into every product decision.\n\nMake sure what we build fits how theater commands operate and shorten the distance between a good idea and a fielded capability.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n7+ years in product, with ownership of complex enterprise, defense, logistics, data, or AI products.\n\nA track record of shipping major capabilities from discovery through adoption, not just launch.\n\nProficiency using AI in your own work process, and a track record of shipping products that build AI into the capability they deliver.\n\nDeep understanding of the Department of War: how it is organized, how it plans, how it buys, and what it takes to build and field software that gets used inside it.\n\nSharp written communication: product briefs, trade-off memos, and narratives that hold up under scrutiny.\n\nComfort working directly with senior stakeholders and end users, earning trust quickly with both.\n\nBias toward action in an environment where priorities shift as new mission and technical context emerges.\n\nU.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\n\nBonus Points\nBackground in sustainment, supply chain, theater logistics, or C2 and other operational decision-support domains.\n\nFamiliarity with joint planning and sustainment doctrine at echelon (for example TPFDD and ULN structure, classes of supply, JP 4-0).\n\nExperience with AI-enabled products or data platforms.\n\nPrior time inside a COCOM, MAJCOM, or Service staff, or uniformed service.\n\nExperience delivering software to government customers in deployed or operational environments.\n\nMission and Identity\nWe are building the system that enables faster, smarter logistics decisions in contested environments, and we're doing it with a team of seasoned entrepreneurs, operators, and technologists who have built and scaled solutions in this space before. We hold ourselves to an extremely high standard. We value clear thinking, direct communication, and the kind of ownership that doesn't stop until something actually works.\nOur mission is to create decision advantage when the stakes are the highest. If we succeed, the system doesn't just run; it gets smarter. We're not building AI for its own sake. We're building it because faster, smarter decisions in the most demanding environments on earth can't wait. If you want to work somewhere the stakes are real and the mission is urgent - you'll fit in here.\nWhy Gallatin?\nThe logistics infrastructure that supports America's warfighters and humanitarian disaster responders is overdue for transformation, and we are building it. From defense operations to disaster response, we're solving the hardest problems that keep missions moving when it matters most. Join a team where the mission is the point.\nCompensation: Gallatin offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer a generous equity grant, full healthcare coverage, 401k, unlimited PTO, and the perks of working in a high-caliber, mission-driven environment.\nGallatin is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.\nThis position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. The successful candidate must be able to work in a classified environment when necessary.\nWe comply with the United States Department of Labor's Pay Transparency provision.\nNote: Due to the nature of certain government contracts held by this organization, U.S. citizenship is a requirement for all positions at Gallatin. Proof of citizenship will be required prior to employment if selected.","description_format":"text","description_chars":6661,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":7,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Equity","Unlimited PTO"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Military","Logistics"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-21T23:15:45Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":14,"expected_fill_days":257,"reasons":["conf:4","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-11-05T05:54:30Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/gallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/gallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-06T05:20:25Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":9363,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-07T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":673248},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=673248"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fgallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fgallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fgallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/gallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fgallatin-senior-product-manager-navigator"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3042667}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"gallatin.ai","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3042667},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
