You'll write production code, make architectural decisions, and guide a small team toward delivery.\nQualification and Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.\n3-4 years of professional software development experience.\nJob Description\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Django (Python) and Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).\nBuild and optimize geospatial APIs and services using tools such as PostGIS, GeoDjango, GeoServer, Leaflet, Mapbox GL, or OpenLayers.\nDesign and manage spatial databases, including writing and optimizing complex spatial queries.\nArchitect scalable, secure, and maintainable RESTful/GraphQL APIs for map-based applications.\nIntegrate third-party mapping and location services (Google Maps, Mapbox, ArcGIS, OSM, etc.).\nCollaborate with front-end developers, GIS analysts, and product managers to deliver map centric features.\nLead, mentor, and supervise junior developers - conduct code reviews, guide technical decisions, and support their growth.\nOwn task delegation, and technical documentation for your team's deliverables.\nEnsure code quality through testing, CI/CD practices, and adherence to best practices.\nTroubleshoot performance bottlenecks in spatial data processing and rendering.\nStay current with GIS technologies, spatial algorithms, and industry standards\nRequired Skills\nStrong proficiency in Python/Django and Node.js/Express.\nFamiliarity with GIS concepts: coordinate systems, projections, spatial indexing, geometry types (points, lines, polygons).\nHands-on experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or similar spatial databases.\nFamiliarity with mapping libraries/frameworks: Leaflet, Mapbox GL JS, OpenLayers, or ArcGIS API.\nFamiliarity with GeoServer, GeoDjango, QGIS, or similar GIS tools.\nStrong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.\nExperience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.\nProven experience supervising, mentoring, or leading a team of junior developers.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large-scale spatial datasets.\nExcellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nBenefits of Working at Galli Express\nStellar opportunity to work with the rising company.\nThe amazing and passionate young team, beautiful office space.\nTrust of biggest FinTech company.\nOne-of-a-kind company culture and growth opportunities to accelerate your career progression.\nHow to apply?\nWe are always keen to meet energetic and talented professionals who would like to join\nour team.
