At the end of the programme, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification in this field as well as learning the practical skills and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.\nJoin us on our Trainee Development Programme, where you will be given the training and tools to develop your skills through a series of modules over an 18-month period followed by a graduation event.\nWe offer apprenticeships from a level 3 to a degree level apprenticeship fully funded by Morrison Construction, tailored to your current education level and course entry requirements.\nThis role is available for a Summer 2027 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.\nWhat could your day look like?\nYour day to day duties will consist of the below:\nParticipate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.\nCoordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.\nGeneral site supervision and management\nComplete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required.\nUndertake material reconciliations.\nEnsure all surveying equipment is calibrated.\nCarry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.\nProduce 2D & 3D site sketches.\nAssist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.\nAssist in basic planning, monitoring & programming.\nControl and minimise waste on site.\nIdentify/assist in introducing new process, techniques and innovations on site.\nEnsure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use\nAs part of the apprenticeship programme you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future.
