If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.\nCOMMISSIONING ENGINEER\nLONDON\nWhat you will be doing:\nAn opportunity has arisen for an Commissioning Engineer to join the team at Thames, a Galliford Try business.\nResponsible for the Commissioning delivery of the assigned project \nEnsuring a full appreciation of the MEICA requirements of the project including a full understanding of the commissioning requirements and interfaces with existing equipment and processes\nEnsuring the development of the Project Commissioning Plan, Commissioning Strategy and Commissioning documentation are completed in a timely manner and meets with the project scope and deliverables, interfaces and constraints are clearly identified. To provide an outline commissioning strategy at outline design stage and developing that philosophy into detailed commissioning plan at completion of design leading into project award. Regular monitoring in the delivery of the commissioning documentation in line with the project delivery requirements. To ensure project MEICA & Commissioning status reporting is provided on a regular basis\nWorking with the client Asset Operations Team to ensure full integration with the existing assets are maintained\nEnsure all MEICA installation work meets the technical requirements of the project, including client specifications / Asset Standards and where applicable the Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Standards (WIMES) \nEnsure that all the latest Galliford Try MEICA & Commissioning processes and procedures are adhered to \nOrganise and manage supervision of Testing and Commissioning \nEngage with specialist support functions including DSEAR, Technical Authors, Document Controllers to ensure early engagement and clear understanding of project needs and deliverables including timescales\nEnsure that the training plan content is delivered in accordance with the programme requirements for the project, including the coordination of suppliers / subcontractors where specialist training is necessary. \nEngaging with the client Asset Integrator to ensure that the project takeover deliverables list is fully agreed and understood - to assist with MEICA & commissioning deliverables associated with completion in a timely manner including if required attendance of review meetings. \nEnsure coordination of MEICA & Commissioning activities with Galliford Try / Subcontract resources to ensure that the project specific requirements and programme are met\nAbout You:\nStrong experience in the water industry.\nBe able to demonstrate the ability in site management and delivery of MEICA / Commissioning and manage the interface with the Client on a regular basis including the prompt resolution of issues affecting project progress\nBe able to demonstrate MEICA & Commissioning delivery though to successful project Takeover\nBe able to demonstrate effectiveness and approach in the delivery of MEICA & Commissioning to meet project timeline and Takeover\nHave a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications to facilitate the creation and presentation of reports as required.\nBe able to demonstrate an understanding of health, safety and environmental approaches\nBe able to demonstrate an understanding of water industry processes \nBe able to demonstrate an understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment used in the water industry.\nCSCS or ECS card in an appropriate discipline\nEUSR National Water Hygiene Card\nSMSTS (preferred) with SSSTS (minimum)\nFirst Aid at Work (preferred)\nBS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations - 18th Edition\nWhat We Can Offer in Return:\nWith an impressive order book of over £3.8 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
