In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering fabricated pipework projects, primarily within the water and wastewater sectors. Working closely with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will support projects from contract award through to successful completion.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nManage fabricated pipework projects from contract award through to completion, utilising in-house design, workshop, and site installation resources.\nEnsure the safe, timely, and commercially successful delivery of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.\nBuild positive working relationships with client engineering, operational, and commercial teams to ensure project objectives and contractual requirements are achieved.\nAttend and contribute to project reviews, progress meetings, and client meetings, both in person and online.\nUndertake site visits and surveys to understand project requirements, identify constraints, and develop practical solutions.\nReview and develop preliminary and detailed designs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.\nSupport the preparation of estimates, quotations, and technical submissions for fabricated pipework projects.\nDevelop design concepts, sketches, and fabrication details to support manufacturing and installation activities.\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, including programmes, method statements, risk assessments, inspection and test plans, and cost reporting.\nManage health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, workshop teams, site personnel, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.\nProcure materials, equipment, and specialist subcontract services in line with project requirements and company procedures.\nMonitor project costs, programme performance, and resource utilisation, taking appropriate action to manage risks and support successful project outcomes.\nCompile and maintain project records, including handover documentation, quality records, as-built drawings, and manufacturing record books where required.\nManage contract variations, compensation events, and final account agreements in accordance with contractual requirements.\nProduce regular project reports and maintain accurate records to support operational and financial performance monitoring.\nRespond to client enquiries and provide technical support across the wider fabrication business as needed.\nUndertake other reasonable duties that support the continued success and growth of the Keighley fabricated pipework business.\nAbout you:\nWe welcome applications from individuals with experience in engineering, fabrication, pipework, or related industries.
