If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.\nJob Title: Electrical Installer\nLocation: North West - Warrington Head office.\nNumber of Openings: 4\nRole Purpose:\nAn opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installer to join our team at Galliford Try.\nWorking on our United Utilities Frameworks within the Asset Intelligence Business, you will support the delivery of electrical installation works across operational water and wastewater treatment sites.\nReporting to the Site Manager and working closely with the wider Project Delivery Team, you will undertake a range of installation activities on multi-disciplinary security, fire and electrical schemes, primarily within the water industry.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nInstalling containment systems, including trunking, tray, ladder rack and conduit.\nPulling, dressing, glanding and terminating cables.\nInstalling electrical accessories and associated equipment.\nSupporting testing, commissioning and handover activities where required.\nWorking from approved drawings, specifications, permits, risk assessments and method statements.\nMaintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout all installation activities.\nProtecting existing site assets and working safely within live operational environments.\nCommunicating progress, site issues and material requirements effectively with site management and delivery teams.\nAbout You:\nWe're looking for someone with a recognised electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent electrical installation qualification, together with relevant industry experience. You'll also hold a valid ECS or CSCS card and have a good understanding of safe systems of work within construction or operational environments.\nYou will ideally have:\nExperience installing electrical containment systems, including trunking, tray, ladder rack, conduit and associated supports.\nExperience with cable installation, dressing, glanding and termination across power, control, data, security or similar systems.\nKnowledge of electrical safety practices, permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures.\nThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings, cable schedules, installation details and site instructions.\nA strong focus on quality, safety and delivering work right first time.\nGood organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nFlexibility to work across multiple sites and collaborate with colleagues, clients and supply chain partners.\nA positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement.\nWhat We Can Offer in Return:\nWith an impressive order book of over £4.3 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
