The project will vary in size and complexity. You will be required to travel within the UK as per business requirements to deliver projects in various UK locations.\nWhat you’ll Be Doing:\nLead and support the delivery of construction and redevelopment projects.\nManage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and accountability throughout.\nPromote and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive working environment where everyone goes home safely.\nEnsure compliance with CDM principles and all relevant legislation.\nWork collaboratively with designers to deliver safe, buildable, and efficient designs within programme timelines.\nFacilitate collaborative workshops, encouraging open input and shared problem-solving across teams.\nSupport the selection and onboarding of contractors in line with company standards and values.\nWork closely with the Commercial Team to select diverse, high-performing supply chain partners.\nEnsure all pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are met before work begins.\nPlan and coordinate project delivery across the full lifecycle.\nOversee temporary and permanent works to ensure alignment with agreed designs.\nLead the set-up of site offices and compounds, ensuring they are safe, accessible, and well-organised.\nEncourage the use of innovative technologies and ways of working.\nSupport site inductions for all team members and subcontractors, ensuring clear expectations from day one.\nProactively manage risks and opportunities alongside the Commercial Manager.\nPartner with the Commercial Team to manage costs, improve cash flow, and capture scope changes.\nEnsure incidents are investigated thoroughly, with learning shared to continuously improve safety and performance.\nTake ownership of quality standards and support teams in delivering right-first-time outcomes.\nGuide and support subcontractors to achieve high performance and quality delivery.\nMonitor subcontractor performance and provide constructive feedback.\nEnsure sites meet all external compliance and audit requirements.\nSupport subcontractors in meeting safety, quality, and programme expectations.\nReview and approve RAMS, COSHH assessments, and safety plans as required.\nWork collaboratively with construction teams and supply chain partners to deliver within budget, programme, and scope.\nEnsure clear and timely internal and external reporting.\nAbout You:\nProven experience in successfully managing multiple subcontractactors.\nExpertise in developing a performance culture.\nAdvanced communication skills adept at interfacing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.\nStrong knowledge of CDM 15.\nExcellent knowledge of JCT & NEC and commercially astute.\nProven leadership and delegation skills.\nAware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.\nHNC/Degree.\nIOSH / NEBOSH qualification.\nQualification in an Engineering Discipline\nSMSTS (desirable) \nWhat We Can Offer in Return:\nWith an impressive order book of over £4.1 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
