Please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.\nSite Manager - Environment\nLocation: Durham / Northumbrian Water Region\nWe are looking for a Site Manager to join our team working on the Northumbrian Water Frameworks, delivering projects across clean and waste water treatment sites.\nThis is a key operational role requiring flexibility, strong leadership, and attention to detail.\nWhat you will be doing:\nReporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling site activities to ensure safe, timely and high-quality project delivery. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed in line with programme, specification and safety standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage Mechanical, Electrical and Civil site installation schemes across water and wastewater treatment sites.\nLead daily site operations to ensure compliance with SHE legislation, contractual timescales and specifications.\nConduct regular toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings.\nEnsure accurate documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments and testing records.\nLiaise with suppliers, subcontractors and in-house teams to coordinate delivery and logistics.\nMonitor site costs, contribute to progress reports and attend project meetings.\nDrive a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration.\nAbout You:\nTo succeed in this role, you will have experience in the water and/or waste water sectors, ideally gained on active construction sites.\nYou will also bring:\nAn industry-relevant ONC / City & Guilds / NVQ qualification.\nSite-based experience in infrastructure / water-related projects.\nSMSTS, IOSH or CITB 5-Day Site Safety certification.\nA relevant CSCS card, First Aid training and EUSR accreditation.\nOrganised and professional approach to work.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships.\nPassion for quality, safety and customer service.\nWhat We Can Offer in Return:\nWith an impressive order book of over £4.3 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
