If you’re a proven DevOps leader ready to fuel innovation and make a global impact, apply today.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCollaborate with software engineering, infrastructure and security teams to streamline delivery, reliability and observability\nDesign, implement and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines that support our diverse set of applications and services\nDrive adoption and continuous improvement of DevOps practices across platforms and environments, helping teams fully leverage our existing framework\nManage releases across multiple AWS regions and environments, ensuring seamless delivery\nSolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges with a strong focus on scalability, observability and automation\nSupport teams working across multiple applications, stacks and languages, quickly understanding and adapting to full-stack architectures and deployment flows\nMentor and coach infrastructure engineers, fostering a DevOps culture across software teams\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nDevOps expertise: You’ve built or significantly scaled a DevOps practice from the ground up.\nStrategic technical ownership: You have a strong sense of ownership in guiding DevOps strategy, tooling choices and architectural direction.\n Hands-on experience with modern tools: You have deep experience with GitHub Actions (CI/CD), AWS ECS, Docker and/or Podman container tooling, Terraform, CloudFormation, and observability tools like Dynatrace.\nCross-functional collaboration: You work seamlessly with diverse application teams and quickly integrate into their workflows.\nMentorship and team growth: You have a proven track record of mentoring others and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\nWhat You Need\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related field, or equivalent experience, required\nAt least five years of experience designing and managing CI/CD solutions, with at least one year of experience with GitHub Actions, required\nAt least five years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies (including ECS and Lambda), IaC tools (especially Terraform) and MySQL required\nAt least five years of experience scripting with Bash, Python or PowerShell required\nAt least three years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, ECS) required\nEnd-to-end testing experience required\nDeep knowledge of security and compliance industry best practices required\nExperience leading DevOps initiatives required\nFamiliarity with SRE implementation and best practices required\nWorking experience in an Agile environment required\nAt least two years of experience leading technical design and implementation of DevOps solutions required\nA demonstrated track record of mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers required\nExposure to large, complex software solutions preferred\nA commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Berlin office two to three days per week required\nAbout Gallup\nAt Gallup, we change the world, one client at a time, through extraordinary analytics and advice on everything important facing humankind.
