Please click on the Apply button if interested in this job.\nGeneral Description\nThe purpose of this class is to support, implement, design and secure services for Microsoft 365 and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) across the enterprise.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nThe functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.\nDesigns, deploys, manages and serves as primary expert for the Microsoft 365 and MECM environment.\n\nAdministers and maintains M365 collaboration applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote and Planner.\n\nFunctions as the Microsoft Exchange administrator.\n\nFunctions as SharePoint file sharing administrator.\n\nIn coordination with the SOC, manages Microsoft 365 security administration.\n\nProvides support to development teams in Power Apps and Power BI.\n\nSeeks and recommends improvements on existing Microsoft 365 and MECM architecture.\n\nCreates and executes Powershell scripts to properly install and/or manage.\n\nUtilizing the Change Management process, applies changes and upgrades to the Microsoft 365 environment.\n\nEnsures overall security of the Microsoft 365 tenant.\n\nManages the enterprise Microsoft 365 licensing.\n\nProvides eDiscovery services for the County.\n\nAuthors and manages Information Rights Management for encryption of sensitive information.\n\nImplements data loss prevention (DLP) measures and adjusts as necessary.\n\nAdministers and manages the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including all endpoints, objects, collections, deployments, and software center.\n\nWorks with other team members to ensure all endpoints are configured with latest security patches and updates for Windows and other enterprise applications.\n\nDevelops comprehensive test cases to include scenarios for normal and degraded operations.\n\nCoordinates within functional and cross-functional teams to apply expertise in solving problems, growing capabilities and driving initiatives.\n\nParticipates in disaster planning, preparation, recovery, and testing as required.\n\nTroubleshoots issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.\n\nProvides best practice advice and guidance to management and across the enterprise.\n\nProvides after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance.\n\nPerforms related work as assigned.\n\nMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:\nRequires Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related major, or equivalent experience.\n\nRequires four years of experience providing design, management and support in Microsoft 365 and SCCM/MECM or closely related experience.\n\nExpert-level knowledge of all Microsoft 365 workloads - SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Planner, Power Apps and BI, OneDrive, Streams and Microsoft enterprise desktop applications.\n\nPowershell scripting experience.\n\nSpecial Certifications and Licenses:\nMCSE or similar certification preferred.\n\nValid TX driver’s license.\n\nMust maintain CJIS compliancy.\n\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment:\nPhysical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.\nUnavoidable hazards refer to the job conditions that may lead to injury or health hazards even though precautions have been taken.\nThe work is typically performed sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, bending, crouching, or stooping.
