In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring that incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.\nThe ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, adaptable, and comfortable working collaboratively with production and quality teams to identify issues, solve problems, and continuously improve processes.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform and document incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections according to inspection instructions, ANSI sampling plans, and quality requirements.\nDetermine appropriate incoming inspection sample criteria and accurately document results in SyteLine and inspection records.\nInspect incoming materials and semi-finished products and release conforming components in accordance with established procedures.\nPerform finished product inspections based on product and customer requirements.\nEvaluate inspection and test results for compliance and identify potential quality concerns.\nComplete Non-Conforming Reports when required and communicate failing results appropriately.\nReview inspection findings with production team members, quality leads, and fellow inspectors.\nIdentify trends, aberrations, and opportunities for improvement before they develop into larger quality issues.\nParticipate in problem-solving activities and quality improvement teams.\nApply and review AII/ACP documentation in accordance with drawing requirements.\nUse calibrated measurement and inspection equipment while verifying calibration status.\nMaintain accurate inspection, testing, and quality documentation.\nPerform Document Control activities, including reviewing and updating facility-level documents and Work Instructions.\nRecommend improvements to the quality of processes and components.\nPerform other duties as assigned while maintaining quality, safety, and procedural requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nManufacturing and/or Quality Control experience preferred.\nAssociate degree or equivalent applicable work experience is a plus.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nFamiliarity with ISO processes and ISO 9001certification and compliance.\nAbility to use standard measuring devices for quality inspections.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.\nExcellent time-management skills.\nAbility to learn new jobs, testing methods, and techniques quickly.\nAdaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and testing schedules.\nMotivated, dependable, and committed to accurate documentation and timely completion of work.\nWhy This Role Matters\nAs a Quality Inspector I, you'll help ensure that every component and finished product meets Galvion's quality expectations.
