You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure quality from feature development to release.\nWe are looking for someone who understands the product from the user's perspective and takes ownership of delivering a reliable gaming experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, review, and maintain test cases based on requirements, user stories, and design specifications.\nIdentify edge cases involving player behavior, network interruptions, device compatibility, and OS variations.\nDevelop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and gameplay or application flows.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable feedback with every build.\nDefine test strategies and quality standards for features, releases, and live updates.\nConduct exploratory, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.\nIdentify, document, and track bugs while collaborating with developers to resolve them.\nMonitor quality metrics, including escaped defects, test coverage, and flaky test rates.\nMentor junior QA engineers and promote effective testing practices across teams.\nLeverage AI and ML tools to improve testing efficiency while maintaining accountability for quality.\nRequirements\n3-5 years of professional QA experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on test automation experience.\nExperience working at a product-based company; services and outsourcing experience alone does not meet this requirement.\nStrong understanding of test design techniques and edge-case identification.\nHands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.\nProgramming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#.\nExperience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with test management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.\nA degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing mobile, PC, or console games, preferably live-service or free-to-play games.\nFamiliarity with live operations, game events, patches, A/B testing, in-app purchases, gameplay mechanics, progression systems, game economies, and multiplayer features.\nExperience testing consumer mobile or web applications with a large active user base.\nFamiliarity with Unity or Unreal testing tools, game telemetry, automated playtesting, or bots.\nExperience with device farms such as BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or AWS Device Farm.\nFamiliarity with App Store and Google Play release cycles.\nExperience with performance and load-testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nReliable automated tests
