goals.\nResponsibilities\nProvides Technical Design Leadership\nActively sets the direction for new developmental projects in the team\nMaintains a thorough knowledge of all applications and pipelines supported by the Creative Service Team\nCollaborates with team members to ensure that all new developed products on the production pipeline have a template archived and white paper documented\nProvides training and on-going support for new Creative Service team members\nHelps to maintain the project schedule, assigns relevant resources and facilitates information flow between relevant parties to ensure project deliverables and deadlines are understood and agreed\nResearches industry best practices, establishes benchmarks and initiates processes and workflow improvements where necessary\nCo-ordinates and communicates all deliverables to ensure that all project deadlines are met\nManage Team (Creative Service)\nAssists in mentoring and training programmes for the team.\nCollaborates, co-ordinates and communicates all deliverables to ensure that all project deadlines are met.\nEffectively allocates appropriate resources to projects, to ensure that project deadlines and requirements are met.\nEnsures that company issues, policies and procedures are communicated to the team within 7 days.\nEnsures that the team business plan is aligned with the company strategy and working towards achieving the strategy.\nEnsures that the team members are equipped with the requisite skill set required for both current and future projects by developing a training and career development plan for each team member.\nCommunicates professionally and effectively with managers and international partners.\nConducts performance appraisals of team members, taking into account Peer and Manager feedback.\nMonitors performance of team members on an ongoing basis and takes effective steps to deal with non-performance.\nOversees all aspects of the team by facilitating and resolving issues, through effective problem solving and communication skills.\nProvides feedback to Creative Manager, on a regular basis, regarding team performance and project progress.\nFacilitates Interface Design for Software Applications\nConducts the necessary research to understanding project scope.\nCollaborates with team and Creative Manager on software requirements, i.e. initial layouts, colour choices and basic design of interface\nFacilitates creation of game interfaces ensuring design meets software and interface functionality requirements.\nEnsures technical knowledge is shared and applied in the design of high quality graphics to ensure all the functional requirements are met.\nEnsures Brand integrity is maintained throughout the design process\nEnsures final graphics are quality assured as per requirement specification, and team standards.\nCo-ordinates and communicates all deliverables to ensure that all project deadlines are me\nCommunication\nEnsures that all written communication is concise and clear, and that ideas and information are clearly conveyed.\nCommunicates effectively and appropriately with internal and external parties.\nClarifies the importance and purpose of the communication.\nGathers appropriate information in order to review progress.\nProvide feedback and if necessary will times.\n\nQualifications\nRelevant tertiary qualification, and/or\n7+ years experience in a creative role\nPrevious experience in a senior or leadership role is an advantage\nArt Team Lead:
