This role plays a key part in supporting the financial management and reporting activities across the Group, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to key stakeholders.\nThe Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing entity-level accounting and financial management for Group companies, taxation compliance, audit readiness, cash flow management, financial analysis, intercompany reconciliations, and Group governance processes. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will help ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and Group policies while contributing to the overall financial performance and strategic objectives of the business.\nThis position forms part of the wider Financial Reporting team and is responsible for providing key stakeholders with financial information and analysis relating to the overall performance of the Group, enabling informed decision-making and supporting business growth.\nResponsibilities\nFinancial Reporting\nOversee and finalise:Monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis.\nCash flow reporting.\nQuarterly, interim, and year-end reporting.\nRegulatory and statutory reporting.\nAd hoc reports and analyses as required.\n\nPerform calculations relating to complex technical IFRS matters as required.\nCoordinate and review the collection and submission of Group reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Group timelines.\nReview month-end reports and journals prepared by the team.\nReview all balance sheet reconciliations.\nUnderstand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation.\nReview intercompany reconciliations between Group entities.\nDevelop innovative analyses that measure financial and operational performance beyond standard financial statements.\nProvide guidance and direction in relation to regulatory accounting.\nAlign jurisdiction-specific and local accounting policies with Group accounting policies and IFRS.\nAudit Support\nManage external and internal audit requirements and ensure readiness for audit purposes.\nLeadership and Management\nManage and support a team of finance professionals.\nCash Management and Banking\nPerform cash flow planning and analysis for entity dividend payouts.\nMaintain cash flow forecasts for entities.\nReview and release supplier payments.\nStakeholder Management\nMaintain relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies.\nEngage with company stakeholders, including executives and board members, to provide financial updates and insights.\nFinancial Analysis\nProvide insightful financial information to senior executives to support short-term and long-term decision-making.\nDevelop financial models and reporting to meet business requirements and align with Group reporting standards.\nContribute to the development and execution of the finance strategy.\nTax Compliance\nCompile and maintain the tax compliance tracker for all entities and manage the compliance status of all taxes.\nProvide relevant tax updates to the Group Tax team.\nQualifications\nFully qualified CA(SA) or Honours Degree in Accounting with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.\nRelevant industry experience.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, financial regulations, and tax laws.\nProficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.\nExperience with Microsoft Navision is advantageous.\nExperience with Cognos TM1 is advantageous.\nInternal controls experience is advantageous.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nProven ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.\nAbility to understand, evaluate, and contribute to the improvement of core finance business processes.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results within strict deadlines.\nStrong organisational skills with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.\nEqual Opportunities Statement\nGames Global is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
