This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a solid understanding of business and commercial objectives, and a commitment to data governance, security, and best practices to ensure data is leveraged effectively across the organisation.\nAs a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interrogating data presented to you to find trends, insights, and information important to present to stakeholders. You will create single item analysis and build analysis and reporting into automated solutions. You will also follow processes to gather relevant requirements and build answers based on this and will interrogate data creatively with a critical mind in order to proactively understand the business and products.\nResponsibilities\nCommunication and Stakeholder Engagement\nCommunicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, tailoring messaging and presentation style to suit different audiences.\nBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and information needs.\nDevelop a strong understanding of business operations and use this knowledge to identify opportunities where data-driven solutions can support business goals and improve performance.\nPresent insights and recommendations in a compelling manner that influences decision-making and drives action.\nData Analysis and Insight Delivery\nGather, analyse, and interpret business requirements to translate questions and challenges into analytical solutions.\nExplore, organise, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making.\nApply appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to answer business questions and uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.\nDesign and develop interactive dashboards, visualisations, and reports that provide intuitive and meaningful insights to stakeholders.\nConduct investigations, experiments, and ad hoc analyses using a variety of statistical methodologies and analytical tools.\nEnsure the accuracy, quality, and relevance of analytical outputs and recommendations.\nBusiness and Commercial Understanding\nDevelop a strong understanding of the commercial, operational, and gaming environment in which the business operates.\nAnticipate stakeholder needs by identifying gaps in business questions and proactively providing additional insights that add value.\nUse business context to interpret data effectively and make recommendations that support strategic and operational objectives.\nContribute to discussions by providing data-driven perspectives and opportunities for continuous improvement.\nData Governance and Compliance\nAdhere to established data governance, data ownership, privacy, and security standards across all analytical activities.\nEnsure data is managed, accessed, and utilised in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.\nSupport the continuous improvement of data governance practices, processes, and controls where necessary.\nPromote data integrity, consistency, and responsible data usage across the organisation.\nContinuous Improvement\nStay informed on emerging analytical methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance analytical capability and business value.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, analytical processes, and data utilisation within the organisation.\nContribute to the development of analytical standards and best practices within the team.\nQualifications\nUndergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Sciences, Physics, Finance, Economics or Engineering\nAt least 4 years of work experience in an analytics role, and/or ability to demonstrate analytical skills\nIntermediate experience with SQL (SSMS/Snowflake)\nIntermediate experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau\nExperience with a programming language such as R, Python and any\nother statistical tool\n\nExperience in creating interactive visualisation and reports to provide intuitive insights \nExperience in communicating technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders \n Equal Opportunities Statement\nGames Global is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
