We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild and evolve the core real-time collaborative editing experience using CRDTs and WebSockets\n\nShip full-stack features that integrate AI capabilities into intuitive, polished user experiences\n\nOptimize frontend performance so the editor feels fast and responsive at scale\n\nCollaborate with designers to implement high-quality UI interactions and visual details\n\nContribute to and suggest improvements for open-source projects that are core to Gamma's web application\n\nDesign APIs with backend engineers to power seamless collaboration and content creation\n\nWhat you'll bring\n3+ years building production web applications with strong fundamentals in JavaScript, React, and modern web development\n\nGenuine passion for crafting excellent web experiences, with sharp attention to detail in UI implementation\n\nExperience with real-time collaborative systems, WebSockets, or similar technologies, and familiarity with CRDTs or operational transformation for collaborative editing\n\nA curious, low-ego mindset that matches your technical skill\n\nPrior experience building rich text editors or content editors (Nice to have)\n\nCompensation range:\nThe base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K - $310K plus benefits & equity.\nFinal offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.\nIf you're interested in this role but you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway!
