Whether you're looking to develop your skills, take on new challenges, or make a meaningful impact, Gamma is the place to do it.\nWho are we looking for?\nSoftware Engineers are responsible for developing and maintaining the Group Applications suite of proprietary UCaaS& CCaaS solutions, including building new features and functionality across the platform and web/desktop user interfaces. \nWhat will you be doing day-to-day?\nCollaborate with product and engineering peers to scope, plan and estimate requirements, ensuring all solutions are well thought through and future proof. \nAdhere to defined engineering practices and processes.\nDevelop new features and functionality across the platform and applications, whilst maintaining the stability of existing codebase, using TypeScript Node, js and React.\nIntegrate with relevant third party services and tools where required, ensuring best practice integration rules are adhered to and integrations are stable.\nDevelop REST APIs using best practice standards and conventions. \nProduce Solution Design documents for review before implementation including detail on security considerations, testing required and potential impacts across the stack. \nUse JavaScript unit and end to end test frameworks to ensure a high level of coverage across the platform and applications.\nTake an active role in peer code reviews and code deployment via CICD pipelines. \nWhat You’ll Need\nStrong experience using, and good working knowledge of TypeScript \nExtensive experience developing applications using React \nGood knowledge of HTML/CSS (3+ years)\nExperience using JavaScript unit & e2e test frameworks (e.g. Jest, Playwright)\nExperience deploying code using CICD pipelines.\nExperience working with and mentoring junior engineers.\nAWS (or Azure/GCP) knowledge or experience is beneficial.\nKubernetes (Not required but beneficial)\nVoIP/WebRTC experience (Not required but highly beneficial) \nWhat do we offer you?\nWhat do we offer you?\n25 days annual leave + birthday\nSubsidised private medical insurance\n5.1% matched pension contributions\nEnhanced parental leave\nLife assurance and Income protection\nShare save and incentive plans\nElectric Vehicle and Cycle scheme\nEmployee discounts\nVolunteer day\nA few things to note\nWe require all candidates to be eligible to work in the UK and pass a basic DBS check.\nIf you don't meet every requirement but feel you could thrive in this role, we would still encourage you to apply.\nGamma is an equal-opportunity employer committed to building diverse, inclusive teams where everyone feels valued and can be their authentic selves.
