Explore some of our signature public transit projects here.\nWhat you’ll be challenged to do:\nDuring your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nCollaborate on real-world railway and transit projects, assisting in design and development.\nSupport engineers in understanding project requirements and proposing innovative solutions.\nPerform engineering calculations for railway and transit system design and analysis.\nAssist in designing railway system layouts and coordinating with multiple disciplines.\nParticipate in field surveys and contribute to project documentation, including technical drawings and reports.\nWhat you'll bring to our firm:\nCurrently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.\nDemonstrated interest in transit and railway engineering through prior internship or applied coursework experience.\nProficient in data analysis and possess strong problem-solving skills.\nSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nWhat we prefer you bring:\nExperience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Rail Track. \nFamiliarity with railway and transit engineering principles and practices.\nCompensation: The salary range for this role is\n$21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
