What you’ll be challenged to do: The successful candidate will have a desire to learn the design aspects of various substation projects from 15kV up to 500kV. You will work with our senior staff to learn and strengthen your understanding of designing utility class electrical substationsIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nPrepares Physical Substation Plan and Detail drawings with limited complexity in support of broader engineering activities.\nPreparing Protection and Control schematic and wiring layouts.\nWorking with our engineers to incorporate redline markups.\nWorks within a design group to complete projects.\nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nAssociated Degree or pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. \n2+ years of related experience in the substation or power industry.\nDemonstrated interest in substation or power engineering through applied academic coursework, internships, or past experiences.\nWorking knowledge of CADD Software \nProficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) \nGood written and verbal communications skills \nCompensation:\nThe salary range for this role is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.
