This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating hire requirements, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.\nIn this role, you'll be at the centre of the hire operation, managing customer enquiries and requests while ensuring efficient, accurate administration.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nYou'll process customer on- and off-hire requests accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures. You will raise purchase orders and hire contracts using internal systems, liaising with suppliers and customer sites to arrange the supply of plant and equipment.\nA key part of the role will involve monitoring deliveries, resolving issues and escalating where necessary. You'll ensure that all supplier paperwork relating to hires is accurate and complete, while building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, customer sites and internal teams.\nYou'll also manage multiple priorities and work within agreed deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.\nAbout You\nWhat We're Looking for\nPrevious experience in a Hire Desk, Plant Hire, Customer Service or Administration role is desirable.\nExcellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.\nThe ability to prioritise your workload, work independently and contribute as part of a team.\nGood IT skills, with the ability to learn and use internal systems proficiently.\nA positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to work.\nPlant hire or construction industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential.\nA flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.\nAbout Us\nAbout GAP and What We Offer\nAs a Customer Hire Controller, you'll be joining an industry leader that's growing and genuinely committed to your success.
