If you're passionate about lifting equipment, thrive on solving problems, and want to be part of a business that's growing fast-this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.\nAs a Lifting Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping our inventory of small shackles and slings, material lifts, aluminium gantries and everything our customers need for lifting any size of load hire-ready. You'll carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs-both in the depot and occasionally on customer sites-ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to go when our customers need it.\nThis is a hands-on, high-impact role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nServicing and maintaining a wide range of lifting equipment within the GAP inventory \nDiagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime \nAccurately updating service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards \nOccasionally attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance \nSupporting the depot team to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction\nAbout You\nWhat You'll Bring\nWe're looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach, including:\nProven experience working in a similar role - candidates out with the lifting industry are welcomed as full training will be provided!\nExperience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults would be highly beneficial\nLEEA qualified is highly desirable \nA keen eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure\nA customer-focused mindset and a collaborative team spirit\nA full, valid driving licence is preferred but not essential\nAbout Us\nAbout GAP and What We Offer\nYou'll be joining an industry leader that's growing and genuinely committed to your success.
