Effective stakeholder management, communication and risk management are central to the role.\nRole Overview\nAs an Intern, you will be enrolled in G&T's Industry Insights Programme, designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the role of a Project Manager, the wider business, and the construction and property industry.\nWorking as part of a team, you will support a variety of day-to-day project activities under the guidance of your supervisor. You will be encouraged to take ownership of tasks and work independently where appropriate, while also recognising when to seek support and guidance to achieve the best outcomes.\nThe role offers a varied experience, with the nature of the work depending on the team, projects and sector in which you are placed. This will provide valuable insight into the profession and exposure to a range of real-world project environments.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nIn conjunction with your line manager, the internship will typically include experience in the following areas:\nAssisting the team with the preparation of contract documentation.\nAttending site meetings, including design team meetings and contractor progress meetings, depending on the stage of the project.\nSupporting the team in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules.\nProviding administrative support to Project Managers to assist with the efficient and accurate delivery of project activities.\nDeveloping an understanding of client requirements and gaining insight into client needs.\nTaking minutes and recording key actions during project meetings.\nAssisting with the collection, development and analysis of project data to support decision-making and goal setting.\nWorking directly with Project Managers to support the delivery of project objectives.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nGood A-Level grades, or an equivalent qualification.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skillls.\nAbility to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines.\nStrong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nExcellent working knowledge of current IT systems and applications.\nUnderstanding of the importance of client care and developing strong professional relationships.\nTrustworthy, reliable and professional in all aspects of work.\nStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nProactive and adaptable, with a flexible approach to changing situations and requirements.\nDemonstrates commitment, dedication and a positive attitude.\nEnthusiasm for learning and ongoing personal development.\nGenuine interest in the construction and property industry.\nProgramme Duration\n4-12 Weeks\nPlease note the following prior to applying for this role:\n1.0 Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor or support work visa applications for Early Talent roles.
